The show opens with a small red ball in suspension. Around her, two figures in blue foam. It is the beginning of a love story, which becomes the story of a family with a growing child. One day, boredom arrives and it is separation. The distraught child finds refuge on this ball, symbol of the love of his parents, which, as he grows up, will allow him to gain momentum to go out into the world. In this opera of wordless objects, simple foam figures come to life by magic, as if they had escaped from the imagination of the accordionist seated next to them. The original score by Jacques Trupin, with tango accents, underlines the poetry of this form, all in colorful sensations and delicate emotions. Directed by puppeteer Franck Jublot, this founding show of the Balle Rouge company is a delight.
