Monsieur Machin lives in the land of circles. Every morning, Monsieur What's-his-name wakes up, jumps out of bed, stretches, opens his window, looks out the window to see what the weather is going to be like today, opens his door and leaves his house. He spins around. Every morning, Monsieur Machin installs round houses, catches a round egg and witnesses the birth of the small round one. Today is a little pink. Yesterday it was a green and then the morning before a yellow. But that morning, in the nest, there was a square! Combining video, contemporary dance and shadow theatre, this adaptation of Jérôme Ruillier's children's book transcribes a beautiful story of difference and integration, gently and poetically.
