The Athos barge was one of the four carriers of sand, wine and grain, and was built in 1964 specifically for the Canal du Midi. Completely renovated in 2007 and regularly maintained, the barge has an exotic varnished wood interior, bright white cabins with air conditioning and private bathroom, and a friendly crew appreciated by passengers.
The Athos barge has 5 cabins and can accommodate up to 10 passengers.
