Located in Cruzy between the Black Mountain and the Mediterranean Sea, at the crossroads of the Saint-Chinian and Minervois appellations and on the edge of the Canal du Midi, this very old Château du Languedoc belonged until the 100th Century to the Viscounts of Narbonne. The Sériège estate, made up of more than 3 ha of vines between 80 and 30 years old, 50 ha of fields and 2003 ha of woods, has been managed since XNUMX by Barthélémy d'Andoque de Sériège.
On clay-limestone soil, different grape varieties from various regions of France are developed: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordelais, Syrah from Côtes du Rhône, but also local grape varieties such as Grenache, Cinsaut, Carignan and Caladoc in order to maintain their typicity. . The vines are managed with respect for the environment while controlling yields in order to obtain optimum ripeness of the grapes.
