The Domaine Moulinier vineyard is nestled on the top of the Pierrerue slopes in the heart of the Saint Chinian appellation. Stéphane Moulinier cultivates the Syrah, Grenache and Viognier grape varieties here, using sustainable methods, to produce AOC Saint-Chinian wines. The estate also hosts 1000 olive trees, which explains its name (in Occitan, "the Moulinier" is responsible for the production of olive oil). The olive oils produced are from local varieties
Located in the heart of Languedoc Roussillon, 1 km from the village of Saint-Chinian, the Domaine Moulinier covers 40 ha.
The vineyard is divided into small plots, nestled on the top of the slopes at Pierrerue.
Stéphane Moulinier, winemaker and his team cultivate the Syrah, Grenache and Viognier grape varieties there in a sustainable way to produce red, rosé and white wines. The Moulinier estate is indeed certified Vineyards & Discoveries.
The farm includes 5 hectares of olive trees, mostly varieties from Hérault.
